Cookies

Which cookies and browser-stored data the site uses, why, and how to delete or block them.

A cookie is a small file a site saves in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way and stays on your device. We do not use advertising cookies.

Necessary

  • Portal session: keeps you signed in to the client or partner area. It expires after 8 hours or when you sign out.
  • Portal referral: keeps the code of the partner who referred you for 30 days.
  • lotaloja.tema (localStorage): remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.
  • lotaloja.pod (localStorage): remembers where you stopped in the podcast.
  • lotaloja.ref.v1 (localStorage): keeps the partner referral in this browser, only if you ask, for up to 90 days.

Preferences in localStorage are not sent to Lotaloja. Without these items, the portal does not work or the site forgets your choices.

Measurement

  • _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics 4): tell visits apart with a random ID and count pages and clicks in aggregate. They last up to 2 years.

Google Analytics loads only after your first interaction with the page or a few seconds after it finishes loading. It does not receive your name, email or phone.

How to delete or block them

  • Every browser lets you delete a site’s data and block cookies in its privacy settings. Look for “cookies” or “site data” and pick lotaloja.com.
  • To block only measurement, use Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics or a blocker in your browser.
  • The “Remove saved referral” button in the footer appears when a referral is saved and deletes it right away.
  • If you block the necessary cookies, portal sign-in will not work.
